We went to St. George last weekend for another softball tournament. This was Cailee's teams first 14 & under tournament and they placed 5th out of 11 teams. Not bad at all!! It was supposed to be our last tournament of the season but the coach was so pleased he wants to go down again in November. The girls played 2 games on Friday night and then started at 9am on Saturday and played 5 games back to back with no breaks. The temperature was 100 degrees! Our pitcher pitched all 5 games and Cailee caught all but about 2 innings. It was long and hot. After they finished playing though they seemed to have found enough energy to go swimming for a couple of hours. I couldn't help but snap a photo of those tan lines....CHECK 'EM OUT!



On our way home on Sunday we stopped at the Chevron in Beaver to get some ice cream from the Dairy Queen and found this giant rocking chair out front. We couldn't help but take the girls pictures in it.




We got home from St. George on Sunday, played ball Monday night and then I headed for California at 7am on Tuesday. I'll be back Friday just in time to leave for Bear Lake! Nothing like logging a couple thousand miles in a week huh?!

Paul applied for a new position at work in the Purchasing dept. but didn't get it. Boo Hoo. He's thinking about going back to graveyards.

Corey is taking some tough classes in school this year but I think the one she hates the most is her Advanced Conditioning class. For those of you who haven't heard on the 1st day they had to run a mile, carry someone across the football field on their back, crab walk across the football field and back, do 2 sets of bleachers, 100 push ups, 100 sit ups and carry someone back across the football field on their back. Needless to say she told me on Saturday she would rather commit suicide than climb up the stairs from her bedroom. She's also taking a business English class that's pretty tough, lots of homework she says.

Cailee is playing ball and going to school. She is taking weight training this semester and is pretty excited about it. They finally got to start going to the weight room on Monday. We are thinking about getting her with a running coach during the winter so if anyone knows of one, let me know!

Channing, Brandon and the babies are doing good. Channing is about ready to pull her hair out because Trinitie is such a good helper! Last week she had to load them up and take them to Brandon so he could punish Trinitie because she wouldn't listen to her Mommy. She sat on her brothers back 3 times! She told Chan she was just trying to pop his back. She's watched Channing and Corey do it too many times I guess. She's really good though at giving him his binki and blankie and stuff like that. I went to lunch with Channing, Trin and Mac on Monday....I was feeding Mac when Trinitie spilled her Sprite on me and Mac and boy was he mad! Guess nobody likes a cold drink spilled on 'em.
