It's been a while since I've been on here! Ever since I've been introduced to Facebook that's where all my info and time goes! Where do I start......?
Paul is doing great since surgery. He's down 152 lbs now in not quite 7 months. He officially weighs less than I do now. Not good for me, but great for him. I just went out a couple of days ago and bought him a 35" waist pant! It's crazy! I've not been very supportive of his diet. Maybe I should say not as supportive as I should be. I've started trying to think and eat like he does. No sugared treats, no potatoes, no rice, no pasta and no bread. Basically yogurt & cottage cheese for breakfast with some roasted almonds, salad for lunch and then protein and veggies for dinner. I've only been eating his way for 3 days and it sucks. I just have to tell myself (as Julie says) "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels." Corey and I made a plan to each lose 20 lbs before Megan gets home from basic training.
For those who haven't heard, Channing and Brandon are expecting another baby in May. She's due on May 10th but will probably be taken by C-section a week early. That puts it right about Trinities birthday, hers is on the 4th of May. The Dr. says from the heartbeat he's going to guess it's another boy. He guessed on the other 2 and was right on both of them.
Corey is attending Snow College this semester and loves it. She has some great roommates and has made some fun new friends. She plans to not attend next semester but will probably not move back home. She's really liking living on her own. She signed a year long contract for her apartment and if she doesn't sell her contract she'll need to still live there even if she doesn't go to school. Her apartment is off campus so she does not have to be a student to live there.
Cailee has been hunting her little hiney off! She had 2 antelope tags down on Parker mountain near Fishlake, a deer tag and a cow elk tag! She filled one of her antelope tags but not her deer tag. Her elk tag just started yesterday and goes through the 18th of December. She did awesome the last term at school. She had 4 A's, 1 B+ and 1 C+. The C+ was in PE! I asked her how the heck you get a C+ in PE and she said it's because her participation was low because she doesn't dress, even though I bought her PE clothes from school when we registered. I explained to her that when I was going to school we made fun of people that failed PE! Anyway I'm still proud of the rest of her grades! She worked very hard now it's on to the next term. This one's the one that really counts! They'll look at her grades for this time when she tries out for the high school softball team in February. I can't believe my baby is in the 9th grade!
Megan is doing great at basic but is excited to come home. She has only 4 weeks until graduation! After graduation she'll get to come home for a couple of weeks and Christmas then goes to Texas for another eight weeks for the Army's dental assistance training.
That's all until we meet again! I'll try to blog more often
