I hope everyone had a happy holiday! We went to an Orem Owlz baseball game on Thursday night and then on Friday night we went over to Channing and Brandons for a BBQ and fireworks. It was fun. Trinitie really likes fireworks. She say the say "Boom". Nothing really exciting in our neck of the woods. Corey had her first blown tire on the freeway last week and that kinda freaked her out. Channing went into the hospital last Sunday with false labor again. The Dr. says she'll probably go through the same thing she did with Trinitie so get used to it. He also said she's measuring 37 at 35 weeks so looks like she's gonna have another big baby. Guess how happy she is about that! Cailee is getting ready to play in the World Series next week in Park City. We are really excited about it! Her team has taken 1st place in the last 2 tournaments they've played and are looking at taking 1st place in their league play! We are headed to Paradise in the morning for Ali Jeans blessing. Anyway....signing off until later!

Channing called me on Tuesday night / Wednesday morning at 4:30am to inform me that they had just left the emergency room. Trinitie had started throwing up at about 2:00am and had started throwing up blood and was running a 102 degree fever! When they got her to the hospital they gave her some Tylenol and Phenegran rectally because she still couldn't keep anything down then sent her home. She slept for a while then woke up and still couldn't keep down any fluids and hadn't wet a diaper in over 5 hours so back to the hospital they went.......They found she has another urinary tract infection (that's what's causing the fever). So they put an IV in the poor thing, pumped in a bag of antibiotics and a bag of fluids and sent her home with the IV still in her arm. She was to come back Thursday afternoon for another bag of fluids if needed. They took her back in on Thursday about 3:00 and gave her another bag of antibiotics and said her fluids were good and took out the IV. Her poor momma's a wreck! But better now!

Just a quick update on Cailees finger.......3 Dr.'s have now looked at the xray and none of them can confirm if it's broken or not. She went to the Dr. on Monday and then went ahead and put a soft cast on it which she has to wear for 2 weeks then goes back for another xray. If the 2nd xray doesn't show any calcium build up then it was never broken just a bad bruise. If it shows calcium build up then it's broken and I guess they'll cast it. She has been able to move it, push on it and even clench her fist so we are hoping for the best. It's not nearly as swollen as it was on Saturday but does look bruised. She had hitting practice today and her coach said she hit far better than he could have ever expected (remember she's wearing a cast!)

Cailee played this weekend in a tournament in Springville called the Art City Classic. Her team took 2nd place! They played two games on Friday night and 5 games on Saturday. Cailee had a 533 batting average for the weekend! We couldn't ask for any better. She hit outstanding! In the 1st inning of the 4th game on Saturday, Cailee was catching and the batter foul tipped a ball that came back and hit her in the right hand. She was removed from catching that game and went to play Centerfield. She still hit during the game and even well. They won that game which advanced them to the championship game. She decided that she would catch the championship game but really had a hard time throwing. Anyway they lost that game. After the game we took her to the Instacare and had her finger xrayed and it's looking like she has a broken middle finger on her right hand! We have to take her into our family Dr. tomorrow and have him look at the xrays to confirm it. Well...... after 3 and 1/2 years this is our first major softball injury (besides that foul ball I took to the head).
Even Corey and Trinite got in on the Softball action! They didn't play but had a great time at the ball park for 2 days! Look at Corey....always in such high fashion!Posted by KellyFam at 3:36 PM 0 comments
