July 28th, 2008

WOW am I a slacking blogger or what?! Well I don't know where to start....Baby Mac arrived last Wed at 9:56am. He weighed in at a whopping 9lbs 11ozs and only 19 in. long! I thought that was huge until Troy and Tara's baby came today and he was 10lb 5 ozs and 20 1/2 in! YIKES...looks like we grow 'em big in our families! Channing was supposed to be at the hospital at 5:30 am and the C-Section was scheduled for 7:30. At around 6:15am the nurse came out and told us they are working on finding her a room but for some reason everyone decided to have their babies the night before and they didn't even have an empty room to put her in....they were FULL! Finally when one room come open here came a lady in labor, well obviously she come before Channing! We finally got in a room around 8:30am and the rest is, as they say history! Oh I almost forgot, Trinitie was not a big fan of brother or mom for the first day but quickly got over it and now really like brother, wants to hold him and love him and squeeze him and kiss him and poke his eyes out!

A couple of weekends ago we attended the Campbell Family Reunion up Santaquin canyon. It was great to see everyone again, even if it is only once a year! Cailee put together a great scavenger hunt and then we did a sawdust pile full of candy for the little ones. Trinitie would periodically run back to the sawdust whenever she needed a Tootsie Roll.

Then on Sunday we went fishing with Dad and Max. We knocked the heck out of the fish!!

Paul and I have been busy trying to get ready for the softball tournament we are hosting here in town. Last year we had 34 teams, this year we have 52! It's really exciting to see it grow like it has!

Cailee had a great time playing in the World Series in Park City. It was really fun seeing all the teams from around the country. There were teams from as far away as Oklahoma! And we thought we were dedicated! There were like 80 or 90 teams in her division and I think we took like 45th or something. Not too good but a great experience! I hope we get to do it again next year. Then she played a tournament in SLC with a new 14 and under team that just formed. She had a good time but can't wait to get back to playing with her team. They got together tonight for a pool party and sleep over in Spanish Fork and play ball again on Thursday, YEAH!

Corey is getting ready to go to Disneyland with Megan. They leave on Saturday and will be gone for a week. They are going to Disneyland, Sea World and a Yankees game at Angels Stadium. She is so excited and has paid for the whole trip on her own. Geez maybe I need a job at the snow shack so I can take a vacation...just kidding. She bought her a new swimming suit today to wear to the beach and is so excited! She wants to wear it everywhere! I'll see if she'll let me get a picture and post it. It really is cute I wouldn't mind one like it but I'm too cheap to spend the money on one. Besides too many people make fun of my tan line! It really is funny looking. Corey had a great time dressing up at Moms house! Really she makes the wig look pretty good!

So we have our 68th annual Lazenby family reunion this weekend. It's amazing a family can keep a get together like that going so long and so strong. I think they have anywhere from 1000 to 2000 people each year during the weekend! Not many families can say that.

That's all I can think about for now, I'll try to post more often. It all depends on finding time!
PEACE OUT!!
