For those of you who've heard we had a fire near our house last weekend and it was crazy. I've never seen so many people driving around Payson at 2am! Here are some pictures. These are taken from the Springlake Pond / Lake about 1 1/2 - 2 miles South of our house. As you can see the fire started just South of the Lake and quickly moved North. As of yesterday fire crews were still working on it and are set up at the school just around the corner. I would say it was within 1/2 mile of our house. I'll see if I can get any pictures of the fire crews if they are still there. There are lots of tents, cases and cases of water, portable sinks, kitchens etc. It's pretty wild!
